Void is a subscription-based recovery support application designed to help individuals overcome gambling addiction. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

  1. What We Collect & Why
    We only collect what is needed to run the core features of the app.

Account Info (you provide): Email and password (stored as a secure hash).
Why: Create and secure your account; send receipts and important notices.

Recovery Data (you provide): Onboarding responses, quiz answers, reflection answers, motivation photos, goals, and strategies you select.
Why: Personalize your recovery experience and provide relevant support content.

Activity Logs (you create): Urge logs, bet logs, and relapse logs, including triggers, responses, amounts, timestamps, and any notes you add.
Why: Track your recovery progress, display statistics, and help you identify patterns.

Progress Data (automatically calculated): Current streak, longest streak, streak start date, last bet date, money saved, and money spent (for tracking purposes only).
Why: Display your recovery progress and provide motivation.

Payment Information: Processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We collect subscription status, plan type, and billing information needed to manage your subscription.
Why: Process payments securely and manage your account.

Diagnostics: Crash logs and error reports (e.g., via Firebase Crashlytics), which can include device information and app state at crash time.
Why: Maintain reliability and troubleshoot issues.

Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers (for app functionality and support).
Not collected: Contacts, advertising IDs, behavioral analytics for advertising, or third-party ad tracking.

  1. How We Use Data
    • Run the app (track progress, display statistics, provide personalized content)
    • Secure accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain reliability
    • Provide support and comply with legal or financial obligations
    • Send notifications and reminders (if enabled)
    • Personalize your experience with your motivation photos, strategies, and goals

  2. Sharing & Processors
    We do not sell your data. We share only with service providers acting on our behalf under strict data protection requirements.

We may share information when required by law or to protect our rights.

  1. Data Retention & Deletion
    Activity Logs: Retained while your account is active and deleted when you delete your account, unless legally required otherwise.
    Account Data: Kept while your account is active.
    Payment Records: Retained as required by law (e.g., for tax and accounting).
    Diagnostics: Retained based on provider defaults (typically 14–26 months).

Delete Account/Data: Using the in-app “Delete Account” option removes your profile and app-stored data. Some payment or transaction records may remain as required by law. You may also email jackson@ondara.io for additional help.

  1. Consent & Your Choices
    You control what you provide. You can update your information, delete your account, disable notifications, or request your data in a portable format by emailing jackson@ondara.io. We do not use your data for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.

  2. Children
    Void is not intended for users under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us so we can delete it.

  3. Security
    We use TLS/HTTPS in transit, encryption at rest through our providers, least-privilege access, and authentication safeguards. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Payment information is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers. No method is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

  4. International Transfers
    The app currently operates in the United States. Our providers may process data in the U.S. or other regions consistent with their policies and applicable law.

  5. Your Rights (U.S.)
    Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, delete, or limit the use of your personal information. To exercise rights or appeal a decision, email jackson@ondara.io.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA):

• Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights

  1. Changes
    We may update this Privacy Policy. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide notice of material changes via in-app message or email.
